Having studied towards a qualification in a totally unrelated industry, Erika joined and spent her career with Sanlam Group Benefits. After 10 years in various roles in the Group Schemes environment, she resigned her employment to take care of her two sons, Ashley and Andrew. 

Erika has been married to her husband Peter for 22 years and has fulfilled various administrative roles since the establishment of the business, including finance, commissions and general administration.
