Erik was born and raised in Pretoria and matriculated form Eldoraigne High in 2006. He went on to complete a B.com degree in marketing at the University of Pretoria. He later also completed his post graduate diploma in financial planning at the University of the Free State. He is a member of the Financial Planning Institute and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional.

Erik has been actively practicing as a financial advisor since 2012 in the tied- and independent space. His main goal is to empower clients by sharing his knowledge and helping them to implement the right solutions for them.

Erik joined Hewett Wealth in 2020 as a financial advisor, establishing the Pretoria branch of the business.
