After Delicia matriculated in 1993, she obtained a certificate as an Executive PRO Secretary, sponsored by the Development of Manpower and the Academy of Learning. 

In 1996 she started a career in the Corporate Asset & Finance industry. In April 2009 she retired from this industry as the Head of Administration and Compliance. In May 2009 she joined a family member with his new venture in becoming a Financial Advisor.  Her core focus areas included:  customer base growth, client retention, business administration & transaction processing, compliance, and practice management.

In February 2019 Delicia was appointed as the newest addition to the Hewett Wealth Johannesburg team where she plays an important role in the administration process due to the expanding business. Delicia is an avid nature and outdoor person, she enjoys hiking, camping, gardening and on weekends she tries to make time for a game of tennis.
